PATCH LOG
  • PHONE BUTTONS WORK AGAIN
Since the Moon screen arrived, the touch pad on phones was talking to the wrong screen — the stick, FIRE, JUMP and the rest did nothing once you deployed. They are wired back to the game
  • EVERY SCREEN, IN MOTION
Click to start — the whole menu flow now works with the mouse, down to click-and-hold to deploy. Every screen builds itself in instead of popping on. In the fight, hits jolt your bars and leave a white trail, your shield shatters when it breaks, low health beats like a heart, and a full Super glints. Loot cards open with a rarity-coloured line and Exotics shimmer. Banners glide in. The pause menu is redrawn full screen with your current objective and works with the mouse, and there's a clickable pause button next to your weapon card. Boss bars arrive name-first and fill up, and bleed white when you hit them. The end screen counts up your run. On phones every button springs under your thumb, and a ready Super ripples
  • EYES UP: THE MOON + A BRIEFING
SELECT MODE is now the Moon itself — a pixel globe you spin with A/D or by dragging, with a landing pin for each mode: Horde on the Ocean of Storms, Stage down the green-lit Hellmouth. Pick one and you get a mission briefing before the drop: the objectives, the hostiles, and a keyboard with every key lit and labelled — press the real keys and the caps answer. Hold J to deploy
  • CLOSER ON PHONES
On a phone, Horde now plays with the camera pulled in closer, so your Guardian and the Hive are bigger and easier to read, and the view leans ahead of where you are facing. The joystick is now analog: push a little to walk, push all the way to run. JUMP is bigger and sits right next to FIRE. And no more black bars: the game now fills the whole phone screen, edge to edge. The touch buttons got a new look too: glowing rings, icons, and a SUPER ring that fills as it charges, laid out in a thumb arc around FIRE. The phone HUD is new as well: your Guardian's portrait, separate health and shield bars, and a white trail that shows the damage you just took. The weapon card is simpler too: big icon, big ammo, and your other two guns underneath. Your three guns sit in a stacked deck: tap it and the next one comes to the front. Every exotic has its own silhouette
  • THE OGRE WAKES UP
The Warren's finale now opens in the dark: the doors slam, the lights die, and there is nothing but breathing and one enormous eye opening in the black — until it ROARS and the chamber comes back on. It watches you as you move, drools embers, shakes rock loose from the ceiling with every pound, and leaves the floor burning where its beam drags. Land enough shots on the eye and it OVERLOADS — the head drops and everything is a free hit. Stand in its lap and it backhands you across the room. And when it finally dies, the eye goes first, misfiring its last beam across the cave roof before the whole body blows apart — all fourteen pieces flung across the chamber, burning up as they go until nothing of it is left
